Expertise acquired over five generations

Les moulins La Fayette was founded in 1994 by Johnny Jeulin ~ baker, pastry chef and 5th generation chocolatier ~ Member of the Québec Association of Artisan Pastry Chefs.

After coming to Canada from France in 1989, he applied his expertise to win numerous professional honours, including a special prize for retail stores

  • Ordre du Mérite du Commerce de Détail (2004)
  • Winner of the Gala d’excellence de la vallée de St-Sauveur in the category of 15 employees or fewer (2003; Boulangerie Pagé)
  • Winner of the Gala d’excellence de la vallée de St-Sauveur in the category of 16 employees and more (2002 Boulangerie Les moulins La Fayette)
  • Recipient of the Certificate of Honour for the Quality of Bread awarded by the Confédération des Boulangers Régionaux de France (1995)
  • World Cup for Pastry and Chocolate (1993) Selected by the Association des Pâtissiers to represent Canada
  • Participant in the Guinness Record for the world’s largest cake, given by the French in Quebec as part of the 350th anniversary of the City of Montréal (1992)
